EasyListening
 |
Designed for really simple song transfers between iTunes on a Macintosh and a Sony Ericsson mobile phone. Connect your phone with an USB cable. Select a playlist or a couple of songs and drag to EasyListening.
Choose if you want to copy or synchronize. The songs are transferred and you're done.
No more hassle with strange invisible files, terminal hacks or scripts.

Playlists
On most phones, EasyListening not only transfers the music effortlessy but also the playlists. No need to recreate your mixes in the phone. Please note that not all phones support this, see here if your phone can use playlists.
Sync multiple playlists
 |
|
New in version 1.1 To make it easier to keep your phone in sync with your iTunes library, EasyListening now has a panel where you can select several playlists directly. Press the small triangle in the main window to show your iTunes playlists. Select your playlists and choose either 'Copy' or 'Synchronize'. Your choices are remembered the next time you open EasyListening. |
Supported phones
More than fifty phones are recognized from the start. The full list of supported phones is here. You can request suport for a specific phone or feature in the support area.
Support for the unsupported
New in version 1.1
EasyListening supports the auto setup information stored in most modern Sony Ericsson phones. This means that even if your phone isn't supported yet, chances are that EasyListening may set itself up automatically and work just as it would with a supported phone.
Memory Sticks
A common way to speed things up is to use a Memory Stick card reader to transfer files. No worries, EasyListening will first attempt an auto setup (see above). If that doesn't work, the Memory Stick will show up as an 'Unsupported device'.
Click 'Setup', select the phone it should be used with and everything works exactly as if you connected the phone directly.
Music formats
Supported music formats are mp3, m4a/aac and, on select phones, m4b/audiobooks. Files protected with DRM (m4p) are currently not supported. This includes a lot of music downloaded from the iTunes store.
Download
Download the demo version to give it a try. Once downloaded you can buy a license for USD 10.00 from inside EasyListening or right here. When you get the license number you can use it to unlock the demo version, no need to download anything else.
